Dr. Allan L. Cook

(sax & flute, vocals)

Dr. Allan Cook - The ‘Dr. of Funk, Jive, Jazz & Junk,’ was awarded full music scholarships from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga and Middle Tennessee State University. He attended the world-renowned Berklee School of Music. He has enjoyed performing for many years at the Pocono Mountains resorts in Pennsylvania.

Appearing multiple times at the world-famous Bethlehem Musikfest was an honor for Allan. He has also performed at Mario Andretti’s “Driver of the Century” celebration, for infamous boxer Larry Holmes, and for Miss Pennsylvania. Allan has had the privilege of playing shows alongside Kai Winding, Larry London, Bud Brisbois, Don Sheffield, JT Carter and Tommy Mara (Crest), Early Clover (Coasters), Tommy McCoy, Nelson Adelard, Bill Haley’s Comets, The Spinners, The Guess Who, Nashville recording artist and viral YouTube artist Døvydas... and many other great talents. THE ONE-MAN FULL HORN SECTION!!! Allan has also been known to feature all saxes, flute, lead and backup vocals, wind synth, percussion, etc. With his personally created, state-of-the-art, wireless processor, it's not unusual for Allan to venture into the audience for an up-close and personal performance!

In addition to his performing endeavors, Allan also is owner/engineer at his 24-track "the kitchen" recording studio. He was Entertainment Director and Stage Manager for the Odessa Rodeo and Festival in Florida.

Allan contributes flutes, saxophones and vocals to BRAKE FAIL's all star lineup.
