Chris Durso performed on his first professional date in 1978 in Brooklyn, New York.  Since that time, he has played in a variety of musical situations throughout the New York City and Tri-State area, Florida, and other parts of the United States, reflecting extensive live performance experience.

While playing the corporate and nightclub scenes in the 80s and 90s, Chris pursued a variety of musical interests that would further develop his musical vocabulary.  These included involvement in progressive and improvisational situations and, as well, performance in a variety of theatre productions.

After relocating to Florida, Chris joined The Crashers, a well-known Southwest Florida variety band that also served as the backing band for former Temptations’ lead singer Glenn Leonard in a Motown Review act titled “Glenn Leonard Presents Hitsville Live.”  He performed with The Crashers from 2004 through 2013.  From 2014 through 2019 Chris was a member of Storyline, a group that played popular, progressive, blues and rock music.

Brake Fail presents an opportunity to come full circle in a journey that started with a desire to play great, unique, original, and intricate music that will also engage people -- An exciting place to be as a player.
